What am i doing wrong? Rufus is for windowze…

    The computer is booting in Bios/Legacy mode. You’ll have to go in to the preboot setup and disable legacy boot; if the computer supports it.

    If it doesn’t… try making a bootable media that supports legacy boot methods.

    Disable legacy boot (and option ROMs) in your bios. What’s the exact model of your laptop? Looks like a thinkpad but the bios varies by generation/model so more information may be needed.

    If the laptop doesn’t support uefi then there is also an option in Rufus to write the image in legacy mode like the error message says

      i don’t have rufus, i don’t have windows. can send more specs in private.

        Wait so what exactly are you trying to do here? From the image and text it sounded like you made a boot drive with Rufus to install Linux.

        Also why send specs in private? Its not like some secret thing and more info is always helpful especially if someone else wants to help.

          if the police gets my specs… its dangerous. hmm anyway, nevermind, ill create this post somewhere on the internet with other credentials. I didnt use any rufus, its the stupid image of linux manjaro that has this somehow… wicked.
