Hmm, diversity of tactics is needed indeed, but this has a strong potential to have unintended side effects and a public back-lash, so not sure. I guess its a suitable tactic in some cases but should not be talked about much?
Unfortunately, there’s no time to think about unintend side effects or a public backlash. We have to regain the momentum lost in 2019 due to the pandemic, and direct action is the only way. Even if it unfortunately inconveniences the everyday public in the short run, it will keep the idea of climate change happening at the forefront and not allow it to fade away from public memory.
