Good on Camille! The more people like her bring native plants and ground cover to the land they control, the more normal it will become. Man and nature can still coexist, all we have to do is change how we think about it.
Her garden is lovely! Having various kind of native flowers and plants is so much prettier and better for fauna than those “green wastelands” known as lawns.
Yeah, but that is such a “US” problem that I be like “Good on you lady, but it is not like you are the only one with plants” lol.
It’s really bad in Germany as well. I’d argue even worse, because we have ‘stone gardens’ here.
I did not think of the “petrified gardens” when I posted my earlier reply. The Netherlands has those too, but fortunately mostly on the front of homes, not in the backyard.
