The guy running with the rocket is President Yoon, who has abysmal approval ratings, and he’s saying “Long live the Great American Empire”

Maybe I’m missing some news, but in general Yoon is very anti-North Korea and he’s the one encouraging the US to expand their influence in Korea. It’s what he campaigned on, so it’s not like the US is using him as a puppet (and I’m not buying US interference in the Korean elections, those were very uneventful times).
