  • Nice community! I have never heard about world being not ok with hosting the images, it’s very convenient i think. I also made some donations so i don’t feel bad at all about hosting my images here. I like lemmy.world, but i guess i’m in the minority here, it often seems more like a “get off .world and .ml” community than about growth of the lemmyverse.

To me it’s topic and community first, instance i don’t care much, it’s federated anyway.

Cheese is kinda half Gouda that I have grated relatively fine and half a ball of fresh mozza.

Dough is about 58% hydrated, overnight in the fridge, mashed and salted canned tomatoes, peppers and oregano.

I bake it in my effeuno electrical pizza oven which is basically the whole secret, it does magic.

  • Yeah sure, it’s not like anyone uses their car to get from a to b inside that village, but for everything else people will use a car.

I was passing through another village where I spent holidays as a kid, cabrière d’aigues, all I remembered was the big pétanque square. Seeing it now three quarters of the space is a parking area. I don’t know if I just remembered that wrong, but pretty sure there was no parking back then.

  • Oh man, sounds like you have quite some time on your hands, awesome. International train travel is a mess with a bike, probably makes sense to disassemble for that long of a trip then. Although you’d have time in advance to book something. There should be interesting “intercités de nuit” that would bring you from Paris to the border of Spain over night, I think both ends of Pyrenees, Basque country and catalunya. These trains should take full bikes. I hate the SNCF website though, so confusing and I never get to book a train that I’d like.
