Who even said that? Please, pass laws in your state against guns! From what I have read, that will not be enough for some. Just like having a loose agreement on abortion was not enough for some. The push for forcing religious businesses to provide resources for abortions is what started this whole mess.

Nobody said shit until people started trying to force Hobby Lobby to provide insurance that includes abortion coverage.

I find it important to call out any media bias no matter how “tepid” you may find it.

It’s the deluge of “tepid” examples of bias that makes us complacent when what you might consider “real bias” comes up and goes unnoticed and/or unquestioned.

Not necessarily. One snip gives an example of a positive quality of the person in question paired with a positive leaning photo. The other gives no such example of quality (and in fact uses authoritarian language as a way of swaying opinion) paired with a photo doctored to (at least in my mind) resemble historically negative figureheads.

Propaganda isn’t really difficult. It just requires a predisposed audience.

AR-15 is just a rifle platform designation. It stands for Armalite (the company that developed the platform) Riffle - 15. They fire the same ammunition as any wooden stock rifle does (depending on your build). They are not some scary over powered gun. And, yes, some game does require you use a higher caliber in order to humanly kill the animal you are hunting. Smaller rounds would end up causing a longer drawn out death for the animal. I assure you most hunters do care about hunting compassionately.

Not trying to diminish your comment. I am strictly a bow hunter. I just feel like using the term AR-15 as a boogey man in any argument about guns is bad faith.

Now, if you are referring directly to curated exotic “hunting” farms, then I absolutely agree with you. Those establishments are a mockery of hunting. I will say, however, that many of those farms do work closely with conservation organizations, so it just really depends.
