As much as I like putting limitations on lootboxes or banning them out right, I’ve seen what developers do when they can’t use lootboxes. $20 to $30 “micro” transactions with predatory menus and game mechanics that make you feel bad for not owning the latest hotness. They will do anything to make that microtransaction money regardless. They’ll just take advantage of a different part of your brain.
I see what you mean. I do care, but it’s more like I don’t use it as a basis for why I don’t like people. Never been a fan of boiling a person down to just one thing about them. Unless you’re just straight up an asshole to people for no reason.

I think the main problem is that the majority of them come in ready to fight with their arms swinging. I’m down to have a normal conversation with just about anyone, but if you come in and just start insulting people and starting fights you can fuck right off.
Even with everything that’s going on, I still don’t really care about someone’s beliefs or political views. It’s definitely harder these days for sure, but i still try. I’d much rather talk things out and understand someone before I decide to just hate them. The problem is that they are fucking rude and trying to start arguments all the damn time. It’s literally just the trolls that show up.
Personally I just like the fuck you energy behind it all.

Regardless, if she was texting and driving and hit a pedestrian you bet their ass they would find her guilty of that. The circumstances may be different but the underlying cause is essentially the same thing.
Seems pretty light considering they basically killed a little girl. The fact that they dropped the manslaughter charges kind of upsets me too because the girl’s death was directly caused by the bus monitor’s actions. Or I guess lack of action and incompetence, but still.

In movies and games they always make them seem super cool and charismatic. Not taking shit from anyone no matter what. In real life it’s just a bunch of socially inept man babies talking about how manly they are as they lick the balls of whomever is in charge.
I’m talking more about the other people in the Whitehouse. I’ve had my fair share of obnoxious and insufferable coworkers that I’ve been forced to interact with on a daily basis.
Seems a little late, but I’m glad they’re starting to realize it. It’s hard to admit when you are wrong, especially on heavy topics like this. And jumping on the “I told you so” bandwagon will only make things worse for everyone. If there’s one thing I know about people it’s that as soon as you start questioning and insulting what people think or believe they will defend it until the day they die just to spite you. Even when they know they are wrong.

His comedy is pretty good. Not so much his old stuff but his newer stuff is amazing. Like his comedy or not, he’s always had a “fuck you” attitude about this kinda stuff which is why I respect him so much. The only comedian I know that calls shit like it is and calls out other people on their bullshit without giving a shit about what he says. He’s like the voice in the back of my head when I’m pissed off at something incarnate.
