this comic didn’t need the last panel.
i know you already covered that base, but it just sounds like the ubi far cry games…
i know next to nothing about the horizon games, but i haven’t ever understood them as even playing in the same sport as botw? are they that similar that they are comparable?
back then? both codebases are fully modern. its more that sqlite uses a style that differs from the accepted norm quite a bit. that, and they don’t accept contributions.
fossil is made by the sqlite devs, for development of sqlite. this is not some amateur operation.
also, it’s by the sqlite people, so expect the code to be… odd.
hej now, them’s fightin’ words
i think we have the record for “most wars with eachother”

complete with massage?
in the original films the fights are very short.
well unfortunately desktop computers are kitchens, not restaurants. if you want a device purely for consumption, a pc is not the right choice.

sorry, apple already took that one. call it Jeff or something.
do you think god stays in heaven because he, too, lives in fear of what he’s created?
one method that helps is to not think of it as a workaround but as assembling a kit. the base system only comes with what everyone will need, and adding on an extra piece makes it more yours. that also helps with motivation to do a good job of it.
that’s switchable graphics for you. nvidia refuse to spill their secret sauce so all the effort in supporting that over the past 10 years have been clean-room reverse engineering. the only way it will ever get any good is if nvidia does it, or if they open it up.
there is an ongoing project to remake them for black mesa, so if you wait you’ll probably get a better experience.
a beach, a plasma torch, and a very steady hand
i mean, it’s not ridiculous. it just describes the genre, like “doom clone” used to describe all fpses.
i don’t really play that genre because they all seem so samey. the thing botw (and totk more so) had going for it was existing lore, a seldom used artstyle, and a rock solid, extremely adaptable ECS.
