I never played the game (League of Legends) and the show didn’t really make me want to play it. The show (at least season 1, I haven’t finished it yet) is still superb.
Nobody except the craziest of crazy thinks negatively about woke stuff if the actual content is good. Examples of good ones from the top of my hat: Arcane S1, Last of Us S1E3, Twin Peaks S3E4.
This is how you actually influence opinions to a good direction.
When the wokeism was apparently more important to the producers than the quality of the actual product is when shit gets irritating and from the pov of activism, counter-productive.

31·17 hours agoYep, like Trump does it. Just change your message depending on the exact crowd you’re talking to. It just requires a level of cynicism that the Democrats (and civilized people in general) seem to find distasteful.
2·18 hours agoNot so funny when you consider all the insiders who made millions. But of course you can laugh at the clueless MAGAs who will be even more impoverished than before.
Fedora and Arch are pretty good. The magic sauce (my guess) is that they both pretty much release just upstream software without trying to “fix” them unless things are totally broken.
On my new Lenovo with a brand install of Fedora, DNF was reporting 10KiB/s disk writes when installing packages. That was a long long upgrade but fortunately all that got fixed by the upgrade.
11·19 hours agoThere’s that, but then again if I would have had managed to exit before the crash (which apparently already somewhat happened) I would’ve been practically stealing money from some MAGAs. But probably only those MAGAs who least deserve to be stolen from. The actual demons know exactly when to exit and are only going to profit from this.
