A community for everyone interested in foraging and other bushcraft. Bushcraft, to improve Ray Mears, is a word used to describe a reliance upon ourselves and upon nature. Bushcraft is cutting green hazel branches to make a basket to forage with. It’s also cutting the tree in the place that will allow it to best heal from the damage.

Both the oak and stinging nettle are native to the temperate rainforests of North West Europe, and are considered to be of importance by the folklores. The person who started this community lives there. We should probably rotate the banner and icon each season to a different member’s landscape.
