Not just Mac OS. I’m also experiencing this issue on iOS 17.0 (21A5291j) on iPhone 14 Pro. The weather widget on my Lock Screen keeps saying location off and when I open Weather, Maps, or other apps that use location services, they ask for permissions again. This seems to happen randomly and it retains permissions as long as I keep the apps open in the background.

Ah, this explains why I can’t ask Siri for the weather forecast anymore.

Now I have to go outside to find out. Fine.
