It was a harmless joke but the mod branded it as “aNtiSeMiTism” and removed it. If it was about any other country, no one would care.
Yeah there’s your problem: Lemmyworld runs itself like a nazi bar. !worldnews is on Lemmyml, which is not moderated by fascists. Not exactly helping the confusion is the fact that he modlog doesn’t tell you which community or even instance removal/bans came from. That makes it really hard to tell if someone is actually being an anti-semite or if it was just someone on a lemmyworld thread calling out Zionism.
