This looks like one of those AI images that’s designed to trick your brain into thinking there are objects in the image when there aren’t. I swear there’s a house here, but I can’t see it if I look directly at it.
Judging by the number of recycling bins on the back patio, I’d say some slumlord broke this house into 8 units and is renting it out to desperate people for way too much. Fire codes be damned.
Recycling bins…? All I see is tupperwareesque storage totes.
Those green storage tote looking bins are a common style of recycling bin, around here at least - I’m in North Carolina.
Blue is recycling and green is compost though?
Differs based on your area and disposal company
It really shouldn’t, those are universal standards and there is no reason to be different than to confuse people.
Regardless of whether it should or shouldn’t - it is. My parents have had a green recycle bin forever. My compost bins are brown and my trash is green.
It’s funny how you’re upvoted for assuming they are recycling and I’m Downvoted for pointing out things can be different, and than you’re upvoted for pointing it out too.
People are fucking stupid.
There should be universal standards followed, but I’ve lived in multiple countries and states and there sure as shit isn’t any strict adherence to any color standard between recycling/trash/compost.
So…… why are people assuming they are recycling bins if they could by anything since color doesn’t matter……?
those aren’t standards. those colors are de facto because of the people that manufacture the buckets.
There is no International Association of Color Of Plastic Buckets Organization.
Psh, you’re clearly not an alcoholic or a case-a-day soda drinker.
I love looking at old houses and trying to trace the changes over the years, and trying to figure out when(ish) and why. This is a particularly fascinating house - thank you for sharing, OP!
Yeah there’s the original barn frame there, but them additions got additions.
Do you want windows? we HAVE windows.
When you build your Lego house from many leftover sets, run out of bricks and fill the missing parts with windows instead.
I can’t imagine how drafty and poorly insulated that house is.
They don’t just have windows. They have LOAD-BEARING windows.
I feel sorry for whoever has to wash them all.
And the birds.
This post is super refreshing.
There are a lot of “God look at this ugly house listing” communities. Usually when I see posts it’s either “gaudy McMansion” or “teardown job listed for $$$ based off property values”. I always end up unsubscribing to them because it’s just an endless feed of identical posts.
This though? This is uniquely terrible.
Weasley House IRL.
Ever played spiritfarer? There is a bit where you play tetris with houses. Same vibe.
it’s odd but I can’t bring myself to hate it.This is what I imagine an AI house is generated. Never thought they would exist in real life.
It’s like when you’re watching someone build a house in Minecraft, but every like 2 minutes they switch to a differently block and it makes me scream aaAAA
AAAA
Hahah. I am infamous for doing this in Terraria. That and building ugly sky railways.
It looks like a fun house, but I bet exterior maintenance sucks.
Right? I would’ve loved to play hide and seek in there when I was a kid.
Until part of it collapsed while you were inside of it.
It’s like the white trash version of the Winchester house in California.
No, that would be the Barn House, which sadly, but unsurprisingly, burned down.
I opened that video, saw the length and thought, I’ll just get a peek of the house and shut it off. I watched the whole thing. Holy shit.
That globe headline - “Gutsy cripple builds 41-room Mansion… by himself!” I about spit out my coffee.
I got to visit it once. It was pretty incredible. For a few bucks, he’d drunkenly show you around.
This is giving me “What Remains of Edith Finch” vibes
Uhh, y’all got permits fer that?
IT WAS LIKE THIS WHEN I BOUGHT IT!!!
Real world Weasleys live here. Ron works at the local Home Depot. Got a steal on them windows.
To me this looks more home-y than every single family house I’ve ever seen.
Weasley vibes.
