Goodbye Horses: The Many Lives of Q Lazzarus is a feature documentary about singer/songwriter Diane Luckey, also known as Q Lazzarus or simply Q. She was best known for singing the cult hit song “Goodbye Horses”, and also for mysteriously disappearing for over 25 years. The film charts Q’s creative and personal journey from cradle to grave, as told to me (filmmaker Eva Aridjis) by Q over the course of the three years we spent filming together. It also features 20 of Q’s fantastic songs- most of which are unreleased- which provide both a sonic and thematic soundtrack to Q’s dramatic and fascinating life.
