Some jade bushes near my place in the Bay Area always have giant branches smashed like this, covered in dog pee too. I found a monster branch recently that I cleaned many times with dawn, then stuck it in some gritty mix and soil and now have a fat jade. One man’s trash!

Fooook! Got a small little branch as a gift and was ecstatic, it’d be nuts to me to just walk by something like that. They’re one of my favorites.

I mean… You could put them in some dirt and hope they come back. I’ve taken branch clippings from mine and done just that to great success! Looks like you gotta free Jade plant there!

Jade are so easy to propagate. You’re right, stuck it in some potting soil and neglect it for a while.

I just found it funny that a plant I love as a houseplant is just detritus in California.
