Skunks' stripes have different patterns depending on where they live

New research reveals that the iconic black and white stripe markings of skunks are less prevalent in areas with fewer mammalian predators.

Apparently they have come to the conclusion that skunk stripes are different based on the area and how many predators there are. It’s nice to know more about my favorite animals.
