This is honestly pretty close to what I saw on Acid. I told my partner that I saw eyes and mouths on the wall, but non-threateningly. She thought I meant like a bleeding wall of gross flesh. Now i can show her what I meant.

Fr? I dont get anything even close to that. Its super fascinating how much the psychedelic experience differs from person. I have extremely strong geometric visuals and patterning as well as shifting and flowing of objects but one of my closest friends has basically 0 visuals even on very high doses. Its primarily an emotional expereince for him. My roomate as well has a very minimal visual experience as well but he atleast gets some. I wish I could experience psychedelics from their or your perspectives. Im so curious as to what it would be like.

Crazy how it works eh? I remember the last time I did cid. I had to pee so went outside. And Wowie outside was vibrant and melting together. So. I stood there with my dick in my hand for over 8 minutes according to our sober friends. I peed for like 1. But acted like I was still peeing. And then 7 minutes later was “done”. As far as I know. I was peeing the whole damn time. But distracted by the trees and pine needles melting into the sunlight.

I always thought acid boosts pattern recognition leading to an exaggerated pareidolia much like Deep Dream turning everything into animals and the like

For a family member of mine, it was eyes in art work that he thought was following him. At least the last time, he just took them off the wall and turned them around rather than destroying them all.

    Shit I might be schizophrenic…

Like I don’t see that but give me any wall, rug or random patterns and I’ll spot faces at every corner.

Pareidolia is the tendency to see faces in random patterns. Our brains are just kind of wired to recognize facial patterns. It doesn’t mean you have schizophrenia, necessarily.
