I’ve been involved in crypto trading for about 10 years, and I’m looking for a genuine and valuable community (excluding Reddit) where I can discuss trading, crypto, and prices from both a technical and fundamental perspective.
I’m particularly interested in a space where not everyone insists on pricing everything in USD or BTC and where there’s a strong interest in more trading pairs with XMR.
Privacy, self-custody, money -> Freedom.
Monero people are more into utility, not so much trading.
that being said, this makes me think of something, I’m really surprised that Trade Ogre doesn’t have a set of XXX/XMR trading pairs, even though they focus on privacy, nokyc, etc. just xmrbtc and xmrusdt i think.
are there any markets that even have xmr pairs beyond those two?
Basically XMR pairs means liquidity and more adoption, price is an integral aspect of every currency and we can like it or not but that won’t change this reality.
I totally understand the show that influencers and all the rocket lines and predictions creates and I’m not talking about that kind of stuff. Seems to be a good timming for share something different and add value to the topic :)

MoneroTalk has a price report with Bawdyanarchist to open most episodes and he covers price trends and technical analysis and the like. I don’t follow that stuff much, but it’s all I’ve got as a jumping off point for more resources for you. Maybe you could contact Bawdyanarchist or the team there to ask where the good discussions happen?
Cool, I honestly don’t spend time on videos or follow trends like Monerotopia (I prefer to read blogs, forums, like old days) but perhaps I can talk with Bawdy because I like their style.

Price speculation and analysis has always been of little interest or even frowned upon in this community. Monero is a tool that works. If you need it then get it, or borrow it and then use it. It is not meant to be looked at, displayed in a showcase.
I understand that price is an integral aspect of good and services like currencies and the whole world priced into our social and/or community reality.
I think that confusing price with the BS around is like confusing privacy with pr0n or something else. I’m agree that security is more important, that means adoption and price on the complete equation.
