Aside from what others said, it could be that they’re kept as weapons, kinda like baseball bats.

Your Lord doesn’t allow you to have actual weapons, but nobody can stop you from buying farming tools, so you keep one by the door to fend off lycanthropes and Jehovah’s witnesses.

  • TYRANNY! It’s an RPG from Obsidian that shares the Pillars of Eternity engine, very cool premise and story, main campaign is short so it shouldn’t keep you occupied long, unless you decide to replay of course, the storyline changes A LOT depending on your actions (and even upon choices you make before even playing), so replayability is very high.

So you don’t actually explore map, but lore.

  • Yeah no the fascists don’t have anything to do with this, or better, they’re just the last of a list of legislatures going back to the 90s who kept cutting the public services’ budgets, with a big upturn after the 2008 subprime crisis.

No we haven’t lost unemployment pay, they removed, for better or for worse, what the previous government instituted and labelled as “universal basic income”, which in the end took the form of a more generous unemployment pay, but we still have the standard one.

The truth is there’s actually very little difference between “left” and “right” governments nowadays: 10 years ago Renzi, with an allegedly left-wing government, actuated the biggest removal of workers right in recent history… They’re all rich kids anyway, all they care about is taking more and more money from the general populace.

  • I once spent a week on a project with a colleague who’s, let’s say, kinda intense… You know smart guy and hard worker, but he always wanted to have the last word, whenever you explained something he never really believed you until he tried himself… Whatever, his work was ok, but as a person he was really exhausting. He left the customer’s before I did, the first evening I was alone I was so people-tired that I didn’t even go to the restaurant (it was in the hotel!), I stopped for groceries at a supermarket and ate in my room!
