I’m sharing this because any reduction in unnecessary packaging waste is good for the planet - and because I think laser-etching avocados is funny. 🙂

That’s weird to see avocados in packaging. In my area they just stack them on a produce shelf like onions, no packaging or lasers required

    But why!?

Put them in a container and label the container TESCO WHATEVER FRUIT, no lasers required.

… The most I’ve seen is avocados bagged/packed as a group.

    I normally see them individually.

Laser etching looks/sounds cool (especially if you do it on the damaged looking spots for less blemishes/more likely for consumers to buy); maybe save on a little sticker. You do you, just I don’t know how much packaging this really saves on, unless you are like… laser etching barcodes and branding.

Laser etching doesn’t sound like a terrible idea.
