So an issue I’ve noticed with reddit migration is that reddit still has a large knowledge base, and there can still be reasons to engage over there simply because of the inertia that keeps people over there.

I just had that issue when I found someone on reddit, who I thought really should have an answer, asking the same question I just found the answer to.

The method I came up with is very simple: make a post on the fediverse with the information you want to share, then make a comment on reddit linking them to your new post.

It’s such a basic, easy process. It adds content here, helps whoever you wanted to help, and it directs reddit users to the fediverse and shows them that there is activity and worthwhile discussion here.
