Most of the ones I knew about, like Neon Dystopia, seem kinda dead these days, and I was wondering if anyone here knew of anything active, especially fiction zines.
I’m not aware of any that are still active, sorry.
It seems like there was a bunch of them a few years back and they all faded at the same time. I was hoping I was just out of date but I kind of wonder if cyberpunk still needs it’s own space, or if being a dedicated cyberpunk space is enough to support something like a zine. I don’t know if mainstream scifi absorbed cyberpunk or if cyberpunk infested it, but so many of the hallmark elements and aesthetics of cyberpunk show up in general science fiction now that I suppose most folks will get their fix from that.
Or maybe I’ve just missed whatever the current place is
I think there are lots of sites that will also include cyberpunk content but there isn’t enough cyberpunk news to justify a dedicated site. I don’t think either of us have missed out on a large cyberpunk community though since I’ve never seen any sites/communities mentioned on reddit. Or at least, the sites that were all mentioned or linked to are gone now.
Such a shame…
