I’m looking for unique songs in pop, alternative rock, hip-hop, funk, et cetera that are melodic but easy on beginners.

For more advanced stuff, my favorite baselines are Cake’s version of ‘I will survive’ (‘The distance’ is a pretty good one too) and ‘In the Meantime’ by Spacehog.
