There’s never more than one pinned post at a time. I know there are some federation issues about pinning, which is why I or other mod from lw pins and unpins posts. If you still see old pinned posts, talk to the admin of your instance.
I see two pinned posts, Wednesday Poetry and Weekend Caption. But I don’t think that’s particularly excessive, and they only appear pinned if I go to the community directly which isn’t how I normally browse.
