I needed a stand to relocate one of my houseplants, but also didn’t want to purchase new. I’m trying to avoid unnecessary consumption of new products and their environmental impacts. I ended up thrifting an old foldable table for $4 which did the trick.

But shortly after, I came across this way to reuse an old lamp shade as a plant stand. Have any of you done this? If so, let’s see it!

    Looks good but I wouldn’t recommend this for outside (as recommended in the article). The center of gravity is really far from the ground so it will be knocked over easily by the wind.
