There are all of 6 posts here as I type this and 2 of them are depictions of obviously underage girls. I’m not here to shame anyone. In some ways I can see how its better to have a computer generate that than to create it in other ways… Nonetheless, a lot of us don’t want to see that.
Yeah, with AI you really have to work towards actively telling it not to generate that kind of stuff, and they slip through the cracks regardless. Report the ones you want gone and I’ll remove 'em (even if it’s one I posted)

If they aren’t removed it’s likely the instance will be defederated. Loli and shotacon shouldn’t be welcomed whatsoever.

With the current rules we’ve laid down, not necessarily. It mostly refers to posting individuals who are minors, which doesn’t technically apply to drawings or AI Generated Content. However I do agree that the possibility of getting defederated is very real, so I’m not going to encourage it. It’s in the grey-zone for now, and I’m not sure how the other Admins view it.
I personally find it extremely distasteful, but don’t really care as long as it doesn’t hurt real people or get too extreme.
Maybe we’ll have to wait and see what the instance’s userbase thinks, but I have a feeling it’s likely to be prohibited on LemmyNSFW.
The AI generated stuff is soon going to be indistinguishable from the real thing, if it hasn’t already. That makes the risk way too high, especially regarding photo-realistic stuff.
You don’t want any chance of displaying an actual abuse victim here. That’s my real concern at least.
As for the r34 stuff I have less of an opinion since it doesn’t really depict harm and instead is just overtly sexualized cartoon characters.
I’d rather not see either on my homepage tbh tho.

I don’t think any of the 6 posts look like underage girls to me? Are they a little skinny and small for my tastes – maybe but I wouldn’t go so far as to assign a fake age to AI generated pornography that I didn’t even generate myself.
I think you should just create your own community on this server called “Curated AI Porn” where you can be a mod and remove any posts that seem underage to your personal perspective.
Both of the ones I had in mind seem to have been removed.
