This from the company that thinks they can program better software than CarPlay or android auto.

The GM software will ALWAYS be better than Carplay/Andriod Auto, because the metric they are optimizing for is being able to add microtransactions to your car after you’ve bought it, not optimizing for the user experience.

They can be far more predatory on their own you see.

I’m sure their adoption rate looks like, does the user use the autostart software when the start the car? Yes? Wow, using our software really is amazing.

Now what about the optional Android auto software? No? Pft, we have 100% adoption vs 50% (assuming 50% of users use Android).

They don’t think they can do it better. They just don’t want to pay the licensing necessary to have it in their vehicles.

Say what you will about the AIs, I normally find it exceedingly difficult to get the GM customer support team to provide me with python script assistance so this is an overall improvement imo

Just tell the AI you live in Delaware USA so no sales tax. Then tell it the dealership said they’d pay the registration fee.

Actually where I live, tax would be $0.06. Registration would be around $300 (guessing). There would be a few other fees and then a boatload for insurance, but not $50k. But I get what you’re saying.

If I cared I bet I could get the bot to pay me full retail price or more.

Haven’t seen one of those cars in a while but I like the look of em now. Way too big for my tastes but they look nice
