Two major outbreaks are still two too many. Stop simping for a megacorp that doesn’t respect it’s employees or customers enough to pay enough to care about hygiene.
They’re not isolated events unrelated to how they run things, though.
One might be a fluke, but two or more (and there’s probably more, those were just the first results of a couple quick searches) is indicative of a more systemic problem of Taco Bell not taking food hygiene seriously.
I wonder if the reason I don’t have any issues with Taco Bell food (and yet I do with many other kinds, as an IBS sufferer) is because, I order all of it without lettuce (due to allergies). So my tacos have no lettuce, but all the other stuff is still on them. Could it be the lettuce that’s really causing the salmonella and/or e. coli issues??
I think that must be true, because I’ve never had an issue or flair up with Taco Bell food. And my stomach gets upset over almost ANTYHING, so that’s really unusual for me. The only time I really got horribly sick was from eating undercooked chicken from a regular restaurant - and that kept me in bed for about a week.
I don’t know about yours, but my digestive system isn’t a big fan of salmonella and e coli.

Other fast food chains having unacceptably lax hygiene doesn’t make it acceptable for Taco Bell.
Both give you diarrhea, which necessitates a lot of wiping, which affects the anus specifically.
Have you never had diarrhea, have you always used a bidet or are you just full of shit (pun intended)?

Not the salmonella but yeah, the e coli outbreak(s) started with improperly handled Taco Bell lettuce so that makes sense.
And afaik you only get salmonella from undercooked poultry and eggs, so a beef thing with no lettuce should be relatively safe!
