I’m relatively new to magic and I’ve been enjoying all the various tribes/types/groups/themes you can build around. I like that you can build a cat deck or a dragon deck or a crab deck or an angel deck or a vehicle deck and all work with lots of options. What’s your favourite theme and what are some of your favourite cards for that theme?

    I’ve been having a blast with an elf theme with a lot of scry mechanisms with the LOTR cards. My first mythic rank was with a dragon theme deck, and that’s what I love the most when it’s viable 😃

    I like control or tempo strategies because you’re faced with critical decisions so often. I like the game of trying to have the right thing at the right time.

    My all time favorite is sliver creatures, I find it so satisfying to see my army to gain so much strength at every piece entering the battlefield. Probably for the same reasons I love decks based on mutation mechanism, even if it’s more fragile, since all power tends to concentrate on a single creature.
