These have been accumulating around the cracks of my house for a few weeks. Google searches of Orange orbs, orange eggs, glossy orange eggs etc haven’t been helpful. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? I’m assuming some sort of insect egg/cocoon?

Not an expert or too sure, but the bottom part almost looks like a fresh mud wasp nest. Does it dry hard? Maybe its sick or using poor materials to build with. Other than that never seen anything quiet like it.

Thats a great thought but I don’t think so. It dries into a sticky shell that collapsed into itself when I poked it.

It has a similar consistency to a spider egg sac. The top three appeared a couple of weeks ago and the others have been popping up throughout the day while I’m at work. If it’s a sick wasp, it’s a bloody persistent one.

Does sound very odd. Any rough idea how big they are? Does it seem like there’s lots of smaller eggs inside or just one bigger sac?

Edit: Also are they low to the ground or high up?
