Using completely made up numbers, if Mr Beast is paid $1 by Youtube for every thousand views, YouTube may be getting paid $6 or $7 by advertisers. Otherwise the monetization would never work. Musk doesn’t have the funds or the revenue from Twitter to be able to compete with that.

Ad revenue would pay Mr.Beast. And he’s not even sure it’s competitive with YouTube.
