AITL/AITA for selling a pool ladder to pay the bills?
I(F,A) was living with my girlfriend(F,A) and our son(M,T) and the bills were coming up.
We were a little short on money and I didn’t want the repo man to show up so I sold the ladder to our swimming pool - I didn’t know, however, that my girlfriend was swimming in the pool at the time until I saw Grim show up.
My son says I murdered her for life insurance and won’t talk to me out of disgust. However, I told him that we don’t actually have a life insurance mod, so I don’t know how I could have done that.
