      Probably.

I recall in school when I was 10 or so, and we were voting for someone to be something I don’t remember. I was among those to put the hat in the ring.

I remember this douche next to me cracking a joke about me voting for myself, when one mark was added behind my name early on.

It remained like that during the count until the very end. One more mark was added behind my name with the last vote being counted, for a grand total of 2 votes.

I never knew who it was, but they never knew how much his/her vote meant to me. I ended up dead last in the election, but I didn’t care: One other person believed in me, and that was enough to make my day. I was always pretty fucking far from being popular, so that one extra mark was the only validation I needed.

And today it made me happy again: I was more popular in a class of 20, than JFKJRs popularity among 95 delegates.
