I hope they get this done and with the harshest penalties for offenders.

Especially big corporations should be fined ANY revenue gained from anything that involved ecocide, plus percentage based penalties on top. And be forced to pay for the cleanup as well.

They got away with this shit for way to long and fines were just “the cost of doing business”.
