    This doesn’t justify it. She knows for a fact that it will be very controversial and yet still pushes through. I’m gay and I was highly disappointed about what happened with Awra and this happened next.

      I’m sorry if you subscribe to the idea that an act of a few members reflects the community they belong to. That’s a dangerous notion.

      I’m also sorry if you believe that being controversial should stop someone from acting on it. You know the saying that it only takes all the good people to do nothing for evil to win.

      If I understood the situation correctly, the artist was trying to answer this question: What would Jesus, Who is known to reach out to the “lepers” of the society, do in a drag event if He were physically among us?

      How would you answer that question? If you’re gay (and maybe Catholic), I hope you won’t imagine Jesus hating on the community for your own good.
