I don’t agree with you, but we were both probably seeing the movie with different expectations.
I went 100% for the fanboy in me. I wanted the fan-service and nostalgia, and this movie delivered. The BTS shots from the Fox movies during the credits broke me because those were some of my favorite movies and it brought back great memories.
I loved the insanity, dumb jokes, and 4th wall breaking because I know we’ll never see this kind of movie again.
I love explaining sex jokes and perverted idioms to my wife.
