It’s true. I posted episode discussion threads at one point but they got little response. :(
It’s true. I posted episode discussion threads at one point but they got little response. :(
But that’s true for every TV show/film.
They are?
Filoni & Favreau have Mando/Ahsoka and the related era.
Andor is Tony Gilroy (newish, new with Rogue One), and Andor is a new approach.
Obi-wan Kenobi was someone new, but an old concept.
Acolyte is someone new, but with a new concept.
I’m not sure the plan with the Rey films, but that is likely someone new. (Although I expect a traditional concept.
I’m happy to have some execs move aside, but I think we’ve got new folks coming in.
Green on red is classic complementary colors.
Lol, that’s exactly what I thought of too. Assuming https://legiscan.com/LA/text/HB71/2024 is correct I think my image fits the legal requirements.
It does specify specific text, but it doesn’t say I can’t add additional text.
Also it has to be easily readable.
As someone who bought “Super Mario Party” I feel you. We got at best 1/2 of a game and then nothing. I’m not sure I can be convinced to buy a Mario Party game again.
the base game is still very robust for a free-to-play title and that what is usually offered for paid tickets are extra items or Shiny Pokémon
They are 100% correct, but what they’ve missed is that they’ve de-valued Shiny Pokemon. If I can just pay for it, what value does it have? Plus, you’re not paying for exclusives just early access.
I agree, but appreciate that Zelda isn’t just “girl Link”. Ganon & Link sword fight enough, with Ganon dipping into magic, it makes sense for Zelda to lean heavily into it. I do think a bow would be fitting, but I expect we’ll have enough creativity with the echos that it won’t be necessary.
It sounds painful, and I’m concerned there will be too much menuing, but in general I’m trusting Nintendo on this one. (Well, maybe wait for a demo/review.)
Nobbleberry is my favorite show.
Re no discussion,
For some reason Movie/TV discussion on Lemmy is limited. I’m guessing it’s just too niche still. It’s an uphill battle but assholes like me are still here, so we can discuss.
Re no guards, I’m guessing it’s a combination of
Ser Criston Cole putting guards in strategic locations to ensure he isn’t caught.
Larys Strong eliminating a handful of hand maids (and similar folk), replaced with his own. These new folks might not have the family in mind.
Kingsguard hanging out with King Aegon.
Overall not expecting an attack like this. Kings Landing is confident if attacked it will be via dragon.
Great cast. Writer seems capable. Director looks a little new when it comes to films, but solid foundation. We know Marvel is doing a soft reset when it comes to films/TV to give them the time we need.
The early 2000 films were good, admittedly they are a product of their time and a little overly camp, but that was the style at the time.
The later film was actually an ok film for he first 2/3rd and only after that, the ending, did it turn to shit.
I have no reason to expect this film will be bad. Worst case is it will be whelming, but I expect a pretty solid film.
I would love a continuation of the TV series, but as I understand the creator (of the TV series, Damon Lindlehof) doesn’t have a good idea for what to do next.
Someday I hope he, or someone does, but for now I respect the current decision.

I’ve rewatched a few times now and it’s better on future watches. Going back I also remember the previous reboots taking moment to find their stride again. In short I’m looking forward to this season.
I’d take another Impossible Lair over mainline game, but I’m not against a proper 3D collect-a-thon sequel.
Both were enjoyable, but Impossible Lair was better.
I guess if we get new games in the long run I don’t really mind, it just seems weird.
I played Yooka-Laylee on release and it was overall an enjoyable game. As I understand they fixed a number of bugs a few months after release, but by then us release day folks had beaten it (and reviewers reviewed it).
The first level of the game was excellent, the later levels felt more rushed (or at least lacking the same level of polish). Maybe the changes will be to those levels, although level layout is key so I don’t know if you can just resize/move things.
I played Impossible Lair about a year after release and thought it was awesome.
Based on this trailer I doubt I’ll play the original again, but maybe I can be convinced.
I do wonder if any characters from Deadpool (apart from Deadpool) will migrate over to the MCU. Will Collosuss get a full reset? I assume yes.
