For me the issue is not only the bad writing, but the over saturation of content as well.

There are just too many spinoffs and sequels now, ever since Disney bought the rights. I got bored of The Mandalorian halfway into season 1. Same goes for Obi Wan. Rogue One was great, but I didn’t bother with Solo or even Episode IX. Stopped paying attention after that.

The only Star Wars content I’m looking forward to is the remake of Knights of the Old Republic, and only because the original was among the best RPGs I’ve ever played. Couldn’t care less about anything else. Disney killed off my enthusiasm for the franchise. Maybe I just wasn’t as much of a fan as I thought I was…

I’m one, and the SO is a Zillennial; neither of us own irons. Just don’t see the point. Dryers are fairly effective wrinkle removers, and any remaining creases will eventually come out simply by wearing the clothing.

Then don’t use Uber. Like I said, self-driving cabs are best. No route fuckery to run up the meter, because they always take the most efficient path. I am aware that not every city has these yet, but that’ll change within a few years.

You can avoid the debt collectors simply by shredding their letters and ignoring their calls. They can’t harass you if you don’t pick up the phone for any number you don’t recognize. They give up pretty quickly (usually within a couple of months) once they realize that you can’t be reached.

It’s honestly so simple to avoid paying debt, that I’m honestly surprised that people don’t think to just ignore it. You’re not going to go to jail for it, so why even worry? Even if it’s a non-medical debt, your credit score will bounce back in only 7 years.

What I don’t understand is why my neighbors here in the US stress over medical debt when you can simply not pay it. It won’t even impact your credit score anymore. Just ignore the debt and move on with your life. I’ve been doing this for decades.

Yeah but it’s cheaper than a taxi, and the best part is that you don’t have to interact with a human, which means you don’t have to tip (if you book a self-driving car). Furthermore, if you practice good charging habits, you never have to worry about a dead phone.

In the middle of nowhere, maybe. But I’ve been on several road trips across the state and had service the entire way, mostly LTE with a few spots of 3G here and there. As long as you’re near the highway or a town, you’ll get service.

I’m in my 30s lol. They weren’t from my time period, either, but everybody watched the reruns in the 90s and 2000s. The old cartoons were everywhere in the media (and I thought they still were). You couldn’t avoid them.

Edit: Also I find it odd that someone would recognize a LotR character but not a Looney Tunes character. LotR reached peak popularity around the same time that LT was ubiquitous.
