My world always has some strange puns and other characteristics. My favorite has been the Young Mariners Cobol Abode which is mostly populated with young sailors. One player was having a real hard time to understand why everyone there was asking if “he is a friend of Dorothy” and why people seemed a little on edge. It took about 30 minutes for him to realize he was in a gay bar and everyone was confused why he was there grilling them if had met a “handsome young well dressed half orc man”. They were looking for their rival and they just assumed it was his boyfriend. Everyone else slowly go to the joke and added on. Good times

I don’t know exactly where you live but Praire Moon Nursery, my favorite midwest native plant store, has wonderful seed mixes. You can just cut low and overseed if you don’t want to do anything. They recommend mowing over for the first few years anyhow and should survive and thrive for periodic mowing.

If you want to go crazy I recommend building something on it but that is more work. You can even start with a native meadow and replace it with fruit trees etc. If this is what you want to do to create a Food Forest I recommend Gaia’s Garden for an intro into permaculture and maximize productivity for the land

I’ve been a professional data scientist for 5+ years and I’m okay at my job. Good enough to get 3 different jobs at non FAANG companies and I have already 3 or so hype trains and name changes of what words we use for the same tools and techniques. This AI hype is going to be another one of these with a few niche cases.

Most of my job is insisting on doing something correctly and then being told that doesn’t give the “correct” response based on leadership expectations. I just change what I do until I get the results that people want to see. I’ll just ride this hype wave out here for a few years here learning nothing new again. I’ll find another job based on my experience and requirements gathering to start the cycle again. Maybe I’ll get more data engineering skills which are actually valid

Also to note that most online references that aren’t illegal are on dndbeyond so if you want to look up rules it shows to first. You can always look in your book but that is much more work. There are other legit tools but will follow the companies lead. They did this already with one source books

I haven’t purchased any digital content and disabled by dndbeyond account. Also haven’t purchased and physical books since the OGL. We are in the midst of a years long 5e campaign so we will have to discuss changes together as a group.

I genuinely enjoy the 5e system so I am torn. But if I get physical books I can keep them forever. So who knows

I really stopped following all of the new rule changes after the SRD / OGL debacle. I will likely get the physical books but never the digital only. I’ll wait until they are all out though. Also what a terrible 3 book bundle you don’t save any money
