It’s an inconvenient truth for sure. I’m using sync right now because it’s the best app experience on android at the moment if you don’t need to top level post and because I used it with Reddit. This wasn’t a big deal with Reddit imo, but using a closed source app to access an open source platform feels wrong.
I wasn’t aware of this, but it’s sort of irrelevant considering it hasn’t been for a very long time.
