My friend was analyzing meter of an interesting phrase they came up with (“imminently deducible”) last night and I fell a little more in love. They concluded it was something like anapestic with a bunch of spondees, which I opposed due to disliking spondees on principle (they’re just two long feet you put in when nothing else fits! also, “imminently” is trochaic in my opinion).
