That’s a fair comparison. Superman is powerful enough to always make the right choice, even when it’s hard. The appeal comes from Superman discovering and making the right choice.

Batman makes the necessary choice (apart from killing), which isn’t always the right choice. The appeal comes from stories where Batman walks the line between criminal vigilante and hero who saves the day.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up with basically the same ruling as birth control but with a test attached so they don’t have to keep ruling on each drug.

Mace seems to be the best most effective use.

The first episode was good, I watched it after episode 4 of the Acolyte. The writing and acting are so much better in HotD. It’s hard to say how good it will be as the first epsilon mostly established thread for future episodes.

The first season is as good as the early GoT seasons. The first couple episodes are different as they are more of a prequel.

I know Kenobi, Yoda, and Anakin are supposed to be some of the best jedi ever, but I didn’t realize how much worse they all were until this show. At this point it’s clear Palpatine didn’t need to be an evil genius, just occasionally competent.

Star Wars desperately needs writers and directors that can do more than fan service.

After 4 episodes, I am now convinced we’ve seen the best this show has to offer and it’s only going to get worse.

Absurd amounts of cgi will do that.
