I don’t use deoderant; I don’t feel the difference and I never really cared much about my smell; but my parent keeps bringing it up and it’s annoying.

Also, what’s wrong with smell? Human smells differ anyway.

i agree, some people buy into the capitalist order to never smell like yourself with soaps and perfumes and deodarents that they probably don’t even know what they smell like anymore

smell and stink are different. OP was ambiguous as to whether the smell their parents refer to was stink.

Seriously? OP’s parents brought up their smell and you’re going to play dumb and act as if we don’t know if their parents are referring to an unpleasant odor?

Why play dumb like this? I swear sometimes people just blow my mind with this shit.

some people buy into the capitalist order to never smell like yourself with soaps and perfumes and deodarents [sic] that they probably don’t even know what they smell like anymore

Then their artifical smell becomes too strong.

It’s not bad to have a stink (unless if it’s distracting); it’s a survival tool in humans. In fact, some people like to smell stink.

Can always use a neutral functional deoderant such as magnesium hydroxide if you’re averse to perfumes.
