I told him he didn’t know how to use a telegraph and Morse code, either.
Inserting a cartridge is no different than inserting a USB-stick, if kids can’t figure out an object that’s as telegraphed as a cartridge there’s no hope for them - they’re dumbf*cks.

Knowing how to telegraph morse-code isn’t comparable to knowing how to insert a cartridge correctly though.
you’re about as likely to be required to do either in your everyday life - especially as a kid.
