Taylor Ham is a brand of pork roll. It’s like people who call every soda a Coke.
It was called ham until the government said it can’t legally be labeled as ham a century ago. Shit is delicious and the thinner the better, imo.
There are so many of these brand name products that become the name for the entire category.
Kleenex: Often used to refer to any facial tissue

It’s $67 for an 8 pack of Taylor Pork Roll on Amazon. I’m not $67 interested in trying it lol
Drive 3 to 6 hrs south (depending where you are, maximum assuming you live in P-town) to a decent state and ask for a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese with saltpepperketchup (that’s one word) in most any small bagel shop.
Not Connecticut. I’ve been here a looong time and I’ve never heard of this.
I first heard about pork roll at a Trenton Thunder game where it’s a big deal. I ended up trying a pork roll sandwich and enjoyed it. It’s one of those things I wouldn’t eat all the time but I still get the sandwich every time I’m at a Thunder game (which is usually once a year).
It’s pork roll, so I’m delighted with this post. I personally find it a bit salty, but pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel is nice.
