As an American I’m still shitty we do t take more.
We’re one of the few industrialized countries with huge tracts of perfectly fine land that’s almost completely uninhabited.
The problem is those are overwhelming red states, and the Republicans running those states care most about staying elected there. Their populations are so low it wouldn’t take many new people before they lost a majority
funnily enough, these muslim economical refugees would most likely vote conservative, like in that one city where they banned homosexuality in the US
