What a pathetic excuse from NEDA. Most ‘customer service’ chatbots I’ve interacted with are barely a step up from telephone button menus. What are they going to do when the chatbot provides unhealthy advice?

I hope the union wins their case.

i have gotten the impression, based on their other decisionmaking, that they 1) have not thought this far ahead because they’ve been sold a hype-based solution and are in for a rude awakening down the line; or 2) just don’t care and are committed to the bit unless they’re legally compelled to do something else. neither is an exciting prospect, and both will have disastrous consequences for people with eating disorders
