It used to be useful to ask questions about computers and technology in general, but not anymore. It’s full of ignorant British and American liberals (no matter how much they boast of their degrees) who answer questions with poor arguments and using fallacies. Moreover, the political part of Quora is even worse. It is full of historical revisionists.

Anyway, if you want to consult Quora for any reason, try accessing it from Quetre (a private front-end alternative to Quora, like Nitter or Teddit).

I always got really creeped out by the number of unquestioning British nationalists on there. It’s really odd.

For example, found a guy who stated that an absolute monarch would always be a tyrant, except for Elizabeth II because obviously she’s perfect

I’d say that’s satire because it’s so on the nose, but knowing the kinds of hot takes that take place on social media, it probably isn’t.

  • Very, very low. Occasionally, there is some good answer there, but the usual level is such that i wouldn’t quote nothing from there without first checking elswhere. Even wiki is better source.

Every time I visit I am genuinely impressed with how insanely wrong and inaccurate the answers all are. Even if it’s something straightforward with a single, verifiable, objectively correct answer that anyone can look up in a few seconds, people will somehow say something incorrect.
