Pet peeve: I am tired of these titles that make it sound like Biden is some sort of king whose pockets match the US federal treasury.
The US government put that money in. Biden won’t take them away the day he retires.
It’s true: the spending is a result of having Democrats control both houses of Congress and the Presidency at once during 2021-2022. Give Republicans control, and they avoid this kind of investment.
I like to name things appropriately. I agree that the GOP is kind of a troubled second personality of the US govt, so we could simply say “democrats”, it would ne more accurate.
To be clear about my intents: I am tired of the personality politics. You are right that it is because the democrats controlled the houses that this can happen. Biden could not have done it without this. I would love people to understand this and go vote on every election not just on the presidential game show.
