I’m glad this was passed. Only worry I have is that the the corporations will have the money to take a hit in California. Keep the amount of money they siphon from CA high, translating to higher costs to the CA businesses and, despite the fact that more of their businesses will struggle, use that as evidence that this law should be repealed.

    the impact of the wage increases can be gauged already - fast wood workers can now afford living costs. the rest will sort itself out.

      The article has stated some workers have had their hours cut such that they’re making less. I dont think we can say the current impact will stay the same. Hopefully, yes workers will be making more in general, but it seems like now restaurants, customers and workers are trying to adjust to the new changes.
